The Nissan Xterra was created best as a rugged , more than tough outdoor enthusiast’s dream vehicle.
For 2009 a number of upgrades and improvements to the model line of the Nissan Xterra have been made.
These include a redesigned front end appearance, new “Roof mounted” Off-road lights ( for off road use only)., new seat and wheel designs as well as new fabrics and colors. Leather appointed seats are now standard on the Xterra SE models. For safety new roof mounted curtain side airbags are now standard safety features with rollover sensor for front and rear seat outboard occupant head protection.
The changes to the second generation Xterra both enhance and differentiate between the four models that are available making it easier for buyers to better match their specific needs , preferences and wants to the specific model available for their purposes and budgets.
