I have noticed that my automotive engine oil seems to turn darker in colour very quickly. Should I be concerned at all ?
The fact that your oil turns darker indicates that it is “doing its job” and that the advanced additives in your premium product are dissolving engine deposits and even residues. Your engine oil product is fine.
I use SAE 20 oil in my vintage 1963 Ford motor product “Country Squire” station wagon. I am going to pull a 17 travel trailer to a vintage automotive meet. Should i use a heavier or more modern engine oil product ? As well when the vintage auto meet is over should I go back to the previous oil lubrication grade product or remain with the newer one ?

It might be a good idea to upgrade to a heavier sae 30 type . Even better might be to upgrade to the more modern 10-30 type. There will be no problems in switching back when you return from the classic auto vehicle meet. If you wish you can upgrade to more modern engine oil blends . You should have no increased auto consumption yet with the more modern , more advanced and current engine oil blends you should find easier engine starting.
