Is faster better or good economy for an automotive repair shop in the short term , long term or for general economy or is it false economy – just “whistling in the wind”

A technician or repair person who “gets it out the door” but has a poor quality reputation and even work ethic is fooling no one – and certainly not the owner of the auto repair shop or dealership.  Customers have to come back for repairs, there is time spent dealing with not to happy and content consumers , the reputation of the shop is diminished.

On top of everything else a shop with a poor reputation when it comes to their standards and standard of excellence will not only find a dearth of customers at some point , but also not the ability to charge top dollar for auto repairs.

So in the end the best policy by far in dealing with auto repair customers – be it a new car brand name dealership, a big box store auto service dept, a franchise auto repair outlet , a corner neighborhood garage or even a backyard mechanic is to have pride in his , her or their job and do it right and full the first time.
