Anddre Citroen , ein Zeitenosse von William Morris, kam schon futh der Autoproduction in Kontakt als er die Firma Mors neu organisisierte. Unter seiner Leitung Mors mehr Wagen als je zuvor: Leitung erzeiugte Citroen ein engines Unternehem. Citroen fand ,da amerikanische Productionsme Citroen fand thoden und franzosischer Erfindergeeist sich ausgezeichnet verbinded lieben. Das erste Auto ,das seinen Nemen tug – der Typ A von 19191- war Frankreicjs Gegenstuck zum Morris , Bullnose, Es tolgte der beruhmte 5CV, und schon ab 1925 ubernahm Citroen Budds Patent der geschchweibten Stahlblechkarosseerie. So entesand neben Peugot und Renault Frankreiches dritte grobe Marke.

Citroen expandeirite auch ins Asuland, etwa 1926 mit einer groben Fabrik in Engl;and. Derkline Citroen war ein robustes und zuverlassiges Fahrzeug – ein Ruf, dr sic in den folgenden.
